Easy Everyday Sides

Hey folks! Here is a Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer, Holiday, EVERYDAY recipe. This Sweet potato mash is a simple, affordable family-friendly recipe.

If you enjoy the Thanksgiving candied yams or sweet potato casseroles that are usually on the menu, then you will love this recipe. I have to admit, I cook with a lot of butter. In this recipe, I used regular butter but oftentimes I replace standard butter with Smart Balance. It's healthier and tastes just as good.

For a healthier alternative, switch out your butter with Smart Balance and the brown sugar with Agave sweetener or similar healthy alternatives of your preference.

As always, have fun with this recipe! Taste as you go and make it yours!

Notes

As always have fun with this. Nothing has to be exact. This can be a taste as you go recipe! You can even add a few sprinkles of nutmeg to bring out the seasonal spice flavors.
It is okay if you leave some of the skin on the potatoes when you are peeling them. This will do you no harm and will actually add more nutrition to your dish!
For a healthier alternative, switch out your butter with Smart Balance and the brown sugar with Agave sweetener or similar healthy alternatives of your preference.
