Honey Butter with Thyme
Honey, Thyme and Butter. An amazing combination!
Equipment
- small pot
- plastic wrap
- rubber spatula
Ingredients
- 1 stick Butter
- 1 bunch Thyme
- 3 tbsp Honey
- TT Salt & Pepper TT=To Taste
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, add 1 stick of butter & 1 bunch of thyme
- Heat saucepan on very low allowing your butter to melt and the flavors to mend together. This will take about 5 minutes
- Be sure to keep an eye on your butter so it does not burn
- Remove from heat, add in honey, salt & pepper. Taste and adjust flavors to your liking
- Remove your thyme & allow butter to cool in the fridge for 10 minutes. It is okay if bits of thyme are left behind in your butter
- Once your butter is cooled, mix it together & store in an airtight container
- Alternate Storing Option
- To roll your butter into a log, use plastic wrap. Add butter in a straight line and then roll the butter with the plastic wrap like a burrito. Twist both ends to allow plastic wrap to tighten around butter and form a log
